Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is Thailand's most iconic and photogenic floating market, located 100km southwest of Bangkok in Ratchaburi Province. Dating back over 100 years, this UNESCO-recognized cultural gem offers an authentic glimpse into traditional waterway commerce that has defined rural Thai life for centuries. 🚣 **What to Expect:** From dawn, traditional wooden long-tail boats and rowboats fill the narrow Damnoen Saduak Canal, loaded with fresh tropical fruits (mangoes, rambutans, durians), vegetables, coconut pancakes, grilled corn, pad thai noodles, and handmade souvenirs. The iconic vendors — women wearing wide bamboo hats and colourful clothing — paddle skilfully through the waterways, cooking and selling directly from their boats.
