Na Muang Waterfall is Koh Samui's most iconic natural attraction – a breathtaking 20-metre cascade that plunges over distinctive violet-hued rocks into a pristine emerald pool surrounded by thick jungle vegetation. The name 'Na Muang' translates to 'purple water', referring to the unique mineral-rich limestone rocks that give the waterfall its distinctive colour. Located in the island's lush interior, it's easily accessible yet feels like a hidden jungle sanctuary. A second, more challenging waterfall (Na Muang 2) awaits adventurous hikers 1.5km away through rubber plantations and forest.
