Secret Buddha Garden (Magic Garden)

The Secret Buddha Garden, also known as the Magic Garden or Heaven's Garden, is one of Koh Samui's most unique and enchanting hidden attractions. Located high in the island's jungle-covered hills, it was created single-handedly over 40 years by local farmer Nim Thongsuk, who began building it in 1976 at the age of 77. The garden is filled with dozens of hand-sculpted stone statues of Buddha, Hindu deities, mythical animals, and spiritual figures, all surrounded by dense tropical jungle. Reached by a steep mountain road and a challenging 4WD track, the journey itself is part of the adventure. A truly off-the-beaten-path gem.
