Similan Islands Snorkeling & Diving

The Similan Islands are widely ranked among the top 10 diving destinations in the world, offering some of the most pristine underwater environments in Southeast Asia. Located approximately 80km northwest of Phuket, this national park archipelago of 11 islands is blessed with exceptional underwater visibility (often 30+ metres), vast coral gardens in perfect condition, and an extraordinary diversity of marine life. Divers and snorkelers regularly encounter whale sharks, manta rays, leopard sharks, barracuda, sea turtles, and hundreds of species of reef fish. Above water, the islands feature granite boulders, powder-white beaches, and dense jungle. Day trips from Phuket depart at 7am and arrive at around 9:30am, allowing 4–5 hours of diving or snorkeling before the return journey. Liveaboard dive trips are the premium experience.
