🌄 About Bamboo Island (Koh Phai) Bamboo Island, locally known as Koh Phai, is a miniature tropical gem located off the coast of Krabi — and quite possibly the most stunning snorkeling destination in Thailand. The island is so small you can walk its entire circumference in under 20 minutes, yet its beauty is truly extraordinary: brilliant white powdery sand circles the entire island, and the water is so crystal-clear and shallow that coral and tropical fish are visible from the surface without even needing a snorkel mask.
