Tham Kaeo Crystal Cave

Tham Kaeo (Crystal Cave) is one of the most spectacular caves within Sam Roi Yot National Park and one of the least visited, making it a true hidden gem. The cave system features extraordinary mineral formations — dense clusters of glistening white stalactites and stalagmites, crystal-encrusted walls, and dramatic rock curtains that sparkle under torch light. The cave requires a guided descent with ladders through narrow passages, adding an element of adventure to the visit. The name 'Kaeo' means crystal or glass in Thai, perfectly describing the jewel-like quality of the formations inside. Combined with the nearby Phraya Nakhon Cave, it makes for a full day of extraordinary natural wonders.
